Duravit pleased with double success with Iconic Award: Highest honours – ‘Best of Best’ and ‘Winner’- for successful brand communication

Measuring 1,300 m², the trade fair stand was based on four houses illustrating the latest products in various lifestyles. Surrounding these were ‘Activity spots’ offering a new form of interactive presentation. Four spots – for the product areas of washing area, shower, bathtub and toilet – conveyed different price segments and harmonious combinations of products. The information and meeting counters were specifically placed in the centre, thus forming the communicative meeting point in the open-plan stand architecture. A large-scale LED wall measuring approx. 17 x 7 metres formed a striking contrast to the otherwise peaceful appearance of the stand. If the visitor passed through this wall, they entered a lounge atmosphere divided into a barista bar and lifestyle lounge on the upstairs level. This distinctive stand architecture and product presentation received the ‘Winner’ Iconic Award from the German Design Council.

For the first time, Duravit presented three new tap fitting ranges this year: C.1, designed by Kurt Merki Jr., B.1 and B.2. Design, function and operating comfort are beautifully coordinated. The new tap fittings complement the product portfolio of the designer bathroom manufacturer perfectly. In the tap fittings brochure, the three new programmes are presented in structured form in a minimalist layout. Pure photo galleries and clearly-arranged features are tailored to the target group of architects, designers and bathroom planners.
